Bear is the Southwest Bootblack 2012 titleholder. She has been in the BDSM community for 15+ years and involved in the local Phoenix community for 10+ years. Bear is dedicated to self improvement and is constantly learning more about herself and her community every day. A Leather boi to the core, she is proud to share of her Leather Service Heart with her community.
Bear is a member of the Dragon~Clan family and an active member of the Phoenix area community. She has enjoyed many years of service as a volunteer at APEX (Arizona Power Exchange), Southwest Leather Conference, as a member of the Grand Canyon Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, and as a staff member of the Butchmanns Experience and DESIRE. Bear has given presentations on the subjects of Fisting, Single-tail whips, Bootblacking and Boot Worship, and Trampling around the southwest region.
The property of one – now for more than 15 years, the girlfriend of another – for nearly 10, the lover and meat to others in various magical spaces from minutes to days to years, a bootblack since circa 2000, labels are tricky, but queer and pig seem to stick throughout all the adventures of sex and love and pain, to responsible community participation and supporting others.
Known for a sharp sense of humor, aggressive and heavy play style, now from both ends of the whip, she’s also got a serious fetish for outstanding service done in simple, quiet, and exquisitely detailed fashion, and no patience for absurd showboating. Tread carefully on discussion topics where you want to share the “should-a, would-a” stuff of leather rules and definitions, it doesn’t fly in this world.
“Well, who is she and why is she here?” experience includes often wondering the same thing, but she’s facilitated workshops for more than 14 years on topics from surviving interrogation scenes and madly bottoming to bullwhips, to the art and skill of bootblacking, managing households, and having some skills to share about poly relationships. Event involvement and achievements include an ancient dusty sash as Ms. Olympus Leather 2003, a regularly dusted and shiny Rocky Mountain Pantheon of Leather in 2009, and the eternal joy of being a founder and past president of the Phoenix boys of Leather. In the herding cats category, a former IMsL Volunteer Coordinator, and now the Vendor Coordinator and likely permanently in service to the event.
Wanton cruising also disguised as event participation as staff, instructor, or judge includes: Tribal Fire, Southwest Leather Conference, Great Lakes Leather, SouthPlains Leather, Dark Odyssey Fusion, Lupercalia, Folsom Fringe, Leather Reign, TESFest… and whew, she gets around. Because, pig.

Nick was International Mr Bootblack 2012, and while he's hung up his sash, he still does boots all over the country, and believes that by taking care of your leather, he's taking care of you.
Nick is a US Army Veteran who lives in Portland, Oregon. He has a wife, a boyfriend in Edinburgh, and a couple of Daddies on the side. Nick describes himself as a bi-poly-pagan-kinky-gamer-geek (or "slut" for short). He switches for impact and rough body play and loves to bite. Blah blah, bunch of stuff he’s done in the community and other things that make him seem way more important than he is.

But he also served as a judge at the NW Master/slave contest in San Jose, CA and was Head Judge at the International Master/slave Contest at South Plains Leatherfest for their 10th anniversary.
After a long struggle with himself, slave realized that he was starving a part of himself to no purpose. As Master Bob had indicated that He was interested in owning a male slave, slave kirk petitioned to become his slave and was accepted in September of 2015.

Teagan is a Bootblack based out of Oakland, CA. The first time she shined a pair of shoes, it was under her father's watchful eye as a child before church. However, these days her skills are being put to more ... salacious uses. Upon joining the leather community and discovering that taking care of leather was a 'thing,' she soon began exploring the eroticism surrounding leather care. She began to hone her craft starting with caring for the leathers of her close friends and lovers in 2013. She then decided to undertake more formal skills training in early 2015. Once she was working on her own, she began to develop an identity as a spiritual bootblack. She views herself as a healer. Mixing sage oil in with some of her products she seeks to purify both the leather and it's owner during their time in her stand. She enjoys serving her community as both a skilled bootblack, organizer, and volunteer. She's worked at major events including International Ms Leather, Southwest Leather Conference, Leather HEAT, Dore Alley, and The Folsom Street Fair. She's also worked as a coordinator for bootblacks at The Playground at Folsom Street Fair, Dark Odyssey: Surrender and both Mr San Francisco Leather and Ms San Francisco Leather. She is Southern California Bootblack 2016 and Southwest Bootblack 2017. On Wednesdays she wears Wescos.
Thib Guicherd-Callin is an entertainer in (or is it entertainment for?) the leather community. A French native based in San Jose, he stumbled into kink in 2001 after mistaking the Folsom Street Fair for an arts and crafts fair.
A two-time IML emcee, two-time IML roastmaster and zero-time IML, Thib has also emceed ILSb-ICBB, IM/s at SPLF, "Seduction" at IMsL, Iowa Leather Weekend, Northwest Leather Celebration, and (unfortunately) many more. He is the resident roastmaster at Mr. Chicago Leather, and his roast comedy has been tolerated at IMsL, ILSb-ICBB, Mr. San Francisco Leather, Mr. Los Angeles Leather, Tri-State Leather, and (alas!) numerous other events.
He serves as treasurer of the Santa Clara County Leather Association and producer of Mr. and Ms. Santa Clara County Leather, both in San Jose, and is also a member of Alameda County Leather Corps in Oakland and the California Boots and Breeches Corps in San Francisco.
Tyesha is first and foremost, a Leatherwoman. She is also a queer femme tomboy, forever student, writer, lover of history, teacher, musician, and "paper schlepper". She has an outgoing nature that leads her to volunteer her gifts and talents wherever needed. Tyesha has lived in the DFW and surrounding areas for the past decade and officially calls Dallas her home though she currently lives in Wilton Manors, FL.
An ex military brat, Tyesha knew about her sadomasochistic nature even while a young girl living in Italy and is grateful for the opportunities to discuss and demonstrate her thoughts on it. She also enjoys talking and teaching on generational and minority issues. Tyesha has served as NLA-International Policy and Procedures Chair, President of the Dallas girls of Leather, and worked with Leatherati.com as their Calendar Editor, Staff Writing Correspondent, and Contributing Editor. She still serves NLA-International and now serves as Editor for Leatherati.com and Registration Coordinator for Gender Odyssey. She has served on many other boards and committees including Beyond Vanilla, Women in Leather International, and Dallas Fresh Leather. Tyesha believes that evolution does not happen without knowledge of the past; neither does it truly evolve fully without the help and creativity of the future. She knows that wisdom and foresight have no age limit. When people understand this, history will be repeated less, solutions will be achieved faster and the Elders will have the ability to go on vacation. She is grateful for the mentors and close friends and family that continue to help the growth of her Identity and journey.
