Sunday Awards Celebration

9:30 am – 11:30 am

Southwest Leather Conference is excited to announce Kozen as the Sunday brunch keynote speaker! Sunday Brunch is a highly anticipated and popular component of the January 19-22 conference held in Phoenix, AZ.
Kozen (Thay Minh Tinh)
Thay Minh Tinh is a Buddhist monk who has lived lives of great hedonism and also of great restraint.  He speaks to the heart of being real, in this there are people who live with the intent for caring and being alive, there are others who live for fulfillment through sex, drugs, love, etc., while there are still others who live within both of these areas and seek to become awakened.

Our historical teacher tells us there are not good or bad people.  Rather, we are just people who get caught up with desire, ignorance or anger.  It is attachment to these things that causes our suffering.

A great teacher once said of this community blood may be thicker than water, but leather is thicker than blood.

It is this great drive to be alive that is present within this community that leads into the modern primitive lifestyle. Ultimately the way of peace leads us into Metta practice.

May we all be well.  May we all be happy.

May we all know love.  May we all know peace.
