Kia's Gift

Kia’s Gift is a scholarship that provides registration to attend Southwest Leather Conference in the next year.

Kia’s gift was created in 2014 in memory of slave kia, an active member of the Phoenix Leather community, Dragon clan member, and dedicated volunteer for APEX, Butchmanns Experience, and SWLC. Kia lived a life of service and generosity in every aspect of her life. She was never one to sit back and let others do the work. Her passion was to serve others not only where people would see her but also behind the scenes, doing things that needed to be done. She never asked to be acknowledged for what she did as her reward was being able to do for others. It is in that vein that this gift was created.
